Waboats, your comments, are I believe, quite credible!

That's why I made the post!

So much could change, if just a few interested sailors, would instead of just being bystanders and spectators, took the time to actually let others just know they are alive!

It is the 'do nothinger's' that are directly responsible for the decline of this sport!

And waboats, perhaps you could elaborate, for all, what PFP and PNG are acronym's for!

The simple answer to your Question Mav..

Is there is very little if any valuable Information supplied by the Radio SAailing Community in Australia regardless of Class..

There is no interest in posting Information to Promote the Hobby as simply Put there is no Desire to Have New People in the Hobby.

If there was such a Desire then Proper Promotion would be undertaken..

What do you Honestly see being done.. Has it changed in all the time you have been involved?

In Fact has anything Changed...

Cheers

PFP

These forums' have many registered members.

This fact means, whichever way you look at it, that there is still some interest in this sport of model radio yachting!

Perhaps many of the discussions here are beyond even the slightest knowledge of someone completely new to the sport, but who still read what is going on. And, who may possibly feel intimidated by all the comments made.

To those of you, who fit this category, I implore you, please do not hesitate to ask questions. For unless you ask those questions, people like me, have no idea, apart from our own experinces, on how to get you to participate in this sport!

If you do not wish to ask questions publicly, please do not hesitate to ask them of me privately, through my email address, dadonmy@yahoo.com.au!

email address modified.
