RE: Sailing - Cherry Lake 10 November 2007

Northerly direction wind up to 15 knots is forecast for tomorrow. Cherry Lake is not a nice place to be in these conditions, so will unfortunately need to defer sailing to another date.cry

And hopefully on the next sailing date, my Micro Magic will also be ready. It's build is progressing, but slowly after waiting for servo's and glue to arrive.juggle.gif

Actually I am a bit disenchanted with the big 12-metre boats at this stage so it's gonna be a couple of Victor model products boats on Saturday.

A little America3, (this is a tiny little boat, just 600 mm long), and my 900 mm long Australia ll, (Victor Model Products, not the A2/Nautic12). Unfortunately, I won't have the racing Micro Magic ready by Saturday.

Hopefully this will help encourage any spectator newbies into this sport.

General news item:

If anybody is interested is sailing at Cherry Lake on the above date, notice of your intentions to that end would be appreciated.

PS: Don't know if I will be able to do it, but I hope to have my new Micro Magic there as well as my A2.
