RE: Best Wishes for a speedy recovery - Neville Beetson

Well, I certainly wish Neville well and hope he makes a full recovery.

The NZ'ers have so often shown us Aussies how to get things done. We cannot afford not to wish people like Neville the hope that he continues to show us all how to do it.smile

I spoke with Neville today Monday. Said he had a 5 way by pass. He reckons he will be out of HOS tomorrow?? probably "bin" chasing the nurses etc. Still this HOS is near a grassy paddock , so their was some form of entertainment. He is also suffering from a big bout of Hiccups and I have my doubts about where one of the by-pass was!

He reckons Neptune offered to take him to the lake next Saturday!biggrin

I can only echo Steve's comments.

In all of my, often challenging, contacts with the Nautic12 folks in NZ, Neville was the guy that put the effort in to try to smooth what were often stormy waters. For the most part he succeeded.

But all that aside, my sincerest and best wishes go towards Neville's full and total recovery.

Neville's contribution, along with his son's, has led to the creation of a boat that owes nothing to nobody, so to speak.

There is a lot more I can say about the Beetson built N12, but I don't want him to get a bigger head, than he must undoubtedly have already.

I mean recovery is fine and OK, but I wouldn't want him to come out of this thinking he is the Messiah.

Hey Nev, leave the nurses alone and concentrate on the boats, OK.

We need you.

Don

Well Neville is still in HOS and I got a phone call from Judy his wife this morning. She said that Nevill will be in HOS for sometime as they are going to do some by-passes on him!! The beetson family are going through a rough period at the moment because his wife is not good either. But to them both Good wishes and get well soon.smile Steve

It was sad to hear Neville Beatson had a heart attack . We all hope he has a speedy recovery. As his mate says ... and gets back to the grind stone. All the best from his mates at Ancient Mariners. As you know, Neville and his mates come over to Sydney last october to sail.

Any way Neville all the best and get well soon.smile
