There is one such group opporating at Scarborough Park, Kogarah (Sydney) led by Leigh Grove. They sail on alternate Saturday's between 1000 and 1330.
There is a regular attendance of 6 to 8 EC12's (has been as high as 11) including a number of Nautic 12's.
There has been reports of Steve lurking in the shadow's. Only joking folks. Seriously, Steve has been down visiting the group and this is great to hear that he is involved.
This is a proactive approach that obviously works and the scope for improvement is only limited by one's imagination.
Regards,
Bob

Steve and I had discussed just such a situation many times in the past. It had always been my own dream, to cast aside all biases preventing all the 12-metre's, irrespective of origin, sailing together. And believe me, there had been some enormous and very critical objections, to my suggestions in the past.
There is one more boat I would add in addition to the ones you mentioned Viking, and that is the Victor products, Stars and Stripes, 12-metre.
I would also like to hear from folks about this!

Our good Mate Henry has been beavering away to identify possible solutions or a redundancy plan following the recent news regarding the ARYA Interim conditions imposed on the operation of the Australian East Coast 12 Owners Association (AEC12OA).
As an Interim solution designed to maintaining fleet sailing, Henry has suggested grouping the EC12, Australia II and the Nautic 12 and even the Victor Models Australia II under the same banner!
What are your thoughts, all ideas welcome?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Bob.
