Sailing conditions were tough with 15 to 18 knot winds that resulted in a number of damages for competitors. Special mention was given to both Andrew Sands and Bob Tonge for make the long journey from southern NSW. Their dedication to the class will ensure EC12's remain a strong force in Queensland.

The Qld EC12 State Titles were conducted over the weekend 18/19 June 2011 at Club Kawana located on the Sunshine Coast.
EC12 skippers braved the cold and blustery conditions during the two day event. Although the pictures don't show the entire group, skippers travelled from as far North as Bundaberg and from Moss Vale, southern NSW.
Boat designs included Sorenson, Mini Mariner and Gilmore.
I'll post the results as soon as they come to hand.
