A very interesting question Henry. The reality is the NoR went out, some entered, many did not.

Given the shameful events and goings on in Aussie over the last 2 years or so I believe getting the 7 from OZ and me from NZ to turn up was at least enough to say we believe in the class.

Those that chose NOT to come and play missed 2 good days of sailing with A rigs - yes it was a bit damp on Saturday (read as bloody soaking really) and Sunday was fine - so be it.

We went, we played and there was a winner and the rest of were followers of the Pooky boat.

Weather forecasts look reasonable compared to last time I came over for this event even if rain is possible it shouldn't blow as bad.

Thoroughly looking forward to catching up with you lot "over the ditch" this weekend.

Go the ANZAC spirit - or spirirts if that is okay (rum to me)biggrin
