RE: Requirements for Australian Nautic12 Registration

Hey Henry,

Time to move on I reckon. New year, new hopes, new aspirations and hopefully new members.

Just email me a couple of application's for membership for my two boats and we are off to a great start for 2008. Most if not all issues resolved. How much more positive and accomodating can I be?smile Like I have said before, I draw the line at cutting limbs off.hmm

Regards,

Damn,

Nearly did what I was criticising as what should not be done. Dang!

My recommendation in this situation is that if a hull bears the official markings of Triple Y Yachts on the official oval label, then that boat should be recognised as legitimate, and be entitled to be registered with the appropriate Nautic12 Association of whichever country it is to be registered in.

Might I respectfully request what conditions must be met in order for a Nautic12 to be registered with the Australian Nautic12 Association?

This is for the potential benefit of any potentially new Nautic12 customers, as I understand that the eligibility of some Nautic12 boats manufactured by Triple Y Yachts, bearing official serial numbers, on official Triple Y Yachts oval labels and affixed permanently inside hulls, officially imported from New Zealand, and with the official Triple Y Yachts organisation signatories, actual signatures and addresses, appearing on the Customs' Export/Import documents, have been called into question.

I refer specifically to Nautic12 hulls serial numbers 107 and 115. There may be others, but these are the ones I personally know of. These boats have apparently been deemed to be ineligible for registration with the Australian Nautic12 Association.

And I cannot for the life of me, conceive, in my wildest dreams, what these hulls have done wrong to warrant this action.

My hope is, is that there has been some sort of accidental, inadvertent, admistrative hiccup and that reason will prevail and that these two boats, along with any others that may have been caught in this unfortunate situation, will be once again recognised and form a part of the overall Nautic12 community.

Any information regarding this situation would be greatly appreciated.
