How fortunate you are, to be able to sail twice a week!

I would give an eye tooth to be in a position to do that! Is that good?

I don't really know what an eye tooth is, but am familiar with the expression, and believe that giving an eye tooth is quite a sacrifice. I do stand to be corrected here.

Again, I state, how fortunate you are, to be able to sail twice a week. I, in my life have no regrets, nor have I even been envious of, or coveted other peoples' status or positions, but your opportunity to sail twice a week surely must come close to envy. My envy.

But by the same token, it feels so sublimey good that maybe even though I am unable to sail, there are other persons around this country sailing, and thereby promoting this fantastic hobby/sport of radio yacht sailing.

I hope to sail with you and your fellow sailors one day.

I spoke to them the other day and invited them. I spoke to one who answered and he said he would try to make it . One can only try. I know they are interested but they will come in time.

I can tell you that the Nautic in our club are having a great time . Their sailing experience is coming on. And with sailing twice a week there are sailors that are really getting into the goove. Its pleasing to see what happens after a few months, they get going.

Yep, there sure are. Makes one feel good doesn't it! Seems to me that that's what being positive can do.

Well our regatta went off rather well. We had 7 boats for the day . The wind was extra light and fluky and not condusive to good racing. In fact , in some instances was more like the lottery in winning but we prevailed and did 10 races for a really nice day together.

The results were  first KA7 Wazza .
second  KA1 "Henry"
third  KA3   Gerry
forth KA13   Bob
Fifth KA 2  Hairoil
Sixth KA6  Dung beetle
Seventh KA19  Alan

KA7 got the obligatry bottle of wine. A kind sponsor by the name of Errol provided these lovely coffee cups for each competitors boat (in the right colours and sail numbers) on the individual cups as a keepsake of this in augrual regatta for Nautic 12s.

Gee there are some good guys around!!

Well the Nautic 12 regatta is on on Australia Day at Scarborough Park in Sydney. We expect the usual boats plus our mates from a wider parts. Suitable prizes will be awarded to All the Entries including some Porcelein  Tea/coffee Cups with their personal Nautic 12  boats in their colours and rego numbers on them. There are other prizes, so much so that I'm going to try for a prize to take home.

The prizes will be given out at the 16ft club on Botany Bay again.

We still haven't heard from any A2 owners who want to sail. Maybe they need time to get into gear?

A lot of the skippers have new sails and this is because of the amount of sailing they do?

Henry

Henry, I hope to get some pictures to publish if you don't put them up on your own website, and will be interested in a list of participants and results. And may the Regatta be a success.
